The BSR InnoReg –project’s primary target group was the development organisations in the partaking regions that offer services to small and medium-sized enterprises. Above all, the project sought to improve the readiness of these organisations so that they would be able to better respond to the global challenges of the future, and so that they could better utilise their scarce resources and offer better and more focused support services to businesses. The aim of the project was to also increase the awareness of decision makers about the possibilities of innovation co-operation in the Baltic region, and about allocating regional resources in a way that the region would stay competitive and its competitiveness strengthen in the long run.
