municipal wellbeing without borders
Started in February 2015, the goal of the project is to create new cultural wellbeing services to South Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothnia. With the project's support, one can develop co-operation that goes beyond the municipalities' administrative boarders, as well as operational models supporting new services. In addition, talent required in the co-operation between different asministrations will be strengthened.
A central part of the project is implemented through municipal pilots kicking off in the region's municipalities in the spring lf 2015. With the pilot projects, one seeks to create customer-oriented cultural services that promote wellbeing. These services may later root themselves as a permanent part of the municipality's service structure.
The goal is to also better the accessibility of cultural services. Logal organisations, artists or other service providers can act as partners of the municipalities in the development of new cultural services.
The funders of the Municipal wellbeing without borders -project are the Finnish National Board of Education, Regional Council of South Ostrobothnia, Regional Council of Ostrobothnia, Regional Council of Central Ostrobothnia and Svenska Österbottens förbund för utbildning och kultur (SÖFUK). The implementing entity is the Regional Council of South Ostrobothnia.
