The Project in Short
The food industry and agriculture are the backbone of employment and prosperity in Europe. Ensuring sustainable food systems is a key challenge for achieving carbon neutrality and implementing the EU Green Deal and Farm to Fork strategies. The FISSH project (Support and assistance in the sustainable development of small and medium-sized food enterprises) aims to support SMEs in the food industry to achieve common goals of sustainable development.
The goal of the project is to improve the implementation of regional policy in 5 partner territories through interregional training and exchange of best practices. The main emphasis is on the development of sustainable business strategies, production processes and marketing of sustainable food products. The FISSH project plays a key role in promoting the sustainable development of the food industry and providing Europe with sustainable food systems.
