The Project in Short
The goal of the CODIL project is to help regions update their innovation policy tools after the Corona virus, so that they successfully support emerging innovation in decentralized teams and its key factor, skilled and mobile knowledge workers.
The main product of the project will be analyses on the regions, in the topics of:
- The region’s competence to utilize new technologies, such as artificial intelligence or cyber security
- Location-based and social factors
- Financial incentives for knowledge workers and companies
- Targeted support for innovation activities in non-knowledge-intensive sectors
Good practices
Interreg Europe projects generate good practices as part of improving regional development strategies and enhancing policy measures. Sharing and applying these practices across different regions enables the spread of innovative and effective solutions beyond borders.
From the region of South Ostrobothnia, the following have been selected as good practices for the CODIL project:
- HUBI25: HUBI25 is a collaborative workspace located in Alajärvi, offering diverse services for remote workers, entrepreneurs, and students. It is designed to promote collaboration, networking, and flexible working in a modern environment. More information can be found on the HUBI25 website.
- SeAMK Innovation Weeks: Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SeAMK) organizes an intensive learning module known as Innovation Week, where multidisciplinary student teams tackle real development challenges posed by businesses and organizations. Throughout the week, students apply the Design Thinking methodology, which emphasizes creative, visual, and customer-oriented problem-solving. More details on SeAMK Innovation Week can be found online.
